It was a day like any other for Miss Mode. A costume here, a simple stitch fix there, babysitting Dash on the side of course.
But something was different.
Edna had gotten a call that morning from Helen (Elastigirl).
She was used to getting calls from Helen about simple costume fixes or changes. But this time Helen just wanted to talk. Perhaps about Dash? Would she be changing up the babysitting schedule? Edna was secretly happy to watch Dash in her spare time and was hoping Helen hadn't found another sitter.
-2 hours later-
Helen arrives looking nice and professional. Was she expecting a meeting? Edna didn't have any meetings with Helen scheduled for that day. Perhaps she had a new costume idea to propose?
Helen sits down, making her self comfortable. She asks about Edna's day and seems happy and energetic. Things must be going well at home with Bob and the kids, Edna thought.
After a while of chatting and laughing Edna gets her and Helen martinis and they continue the conversation.
Helen suddenly looks more serious and puts her hand on Edna's leg.
"Edna I have something to tell you. I have been needing to tell you for a very long time."
"What is it Helen darling? Anything you need. I'm here"
"I think I love you" exclaims Helen
"Well of course darling. I have been working for you and Bob for years. Of course you love me, darling."
"No Edna. I'm in love with you" Helen said sencerly as she slides her hand up Edna's leg. Feeling her soft black tights. Perfectly stitched and dry cleaned as always.
"I'm in love with you and I want to leave Bob to be with you, Edna. You are all I have ever wanted. You care for Dash so deeply and I admire that. You are the perfect women for me Edna."
"Darling... you are all I have ever wanted" says Edna softly and sincerely.
They passionately kiss as the sun sinks behind Edna's mansion. For the first time Helen and Edna felt whole. They knew they had a tough battle ahead of them but nothing was impossible when they were together.
