I own nothing, 'cept my strange imagination which actually finds the
Wargs cute. Anyway, I decided to make this a one chapter story cuz . . . it
made more sense so, here ya are. Please r&r.
Beginning
He came into this world innocent, as everything does. The day it could be said he lost his innocence was when his only sister attacked him for no apparent reason. He ran, not wanting to harm her. She did not see him as a brother though, only an obstacle between her and her own advancement. He found a hidden niche in the pit he lived his life thus far and sat there, filled with sadness and confusion.
The pup started as the wall behind him began to move, it swung out and one of the pungent two leggers entered the pit. The pup cowered as the two legger passed. Then he walked cautiously to the gap in the wall. Sniffing at this new territory he set a paw through. Nothing happened, encouraged, he began trotting up the ascending hallway. Breaking out into the world he was astounded, even though he was sorrounded by wheels and oil for the first time he saw the sky, stars managed to glimmer through the smog.
Middle
The two leggers ignored him and while exploring he discovered there was a way out of the land of machines. He found it in the predawn light. He came to a place where there was something besides stone under his feet. It was cool and soft and after walking a few paces through the stuff he lay down and slept.
The pup woke when the sun had reached the top of the sky. He felt alive. It was a new sensation and he liked it. Jumping to his feet he ran and leapt across the plain.
He soon began to get hungry and his mother and her milk where nowhere in sight. Wandering aimlessly his nose picked up a smell. It was tangy and his mouth began to water. With his nose in the air he trotted toward the smell, it brought him to a collection of small wooden buildings. He stopped, poleaxed. How could he get at the smell if it was contained in one of those boxes? Sitting sown the pup began to whine. He was cold and hungry and lost. Suddenly there was a hole in one of the boxes, a two legger came out, but it smelled different. It smelled..kind, sweet. The pup stood and timidly walked toward the two legger. It uttered something and leaned over to scratch his head, he licked its hand.
End
The pup lay in front of a fire with a full belly. The two legger he'd befriended was behind him making a good deal of noise, almost growling at the other two legger in the room. He was starting to drift off to sleep when the two legger came over and whispered in his ear. It was crying and tears fell on his fur. He looked up at it confused and licked its face trying to comfort. The two legger patted his head and stood, disappearing out of the room.
The pup awoke in the two legger's arms the next morning, it was talking quietly, trying not to disturb him. He was carried outside and to the back of a cart where the two legger set him down gently. They took off suddenly and the pup sat down abruptly. Eventually the cart stopped and his two legger stood crying at the back of the cart. She scooped him up and set him down on the endless plain. He sat there and watched the cart role away, as it disappeared he realized it had taken the two legger with it.
The pup was found by a band of orcs back from of a raid of the very same village he had spent the night in. He was returned to Isengard and soon all memory of his expedition was forgotten except for the young two legger's smell. He fought and died in the War of the Ring.
