This is for Angel-Dust-Ryuuki on Deviantart who won a giveaway. The pairing is Beast Boy and Raven, I'm not sure how well I did with this but I do hope you like it.

'Well this is just great.'

Raven sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that day.

Her and Beast Boy had not only been separated from there group and sent to the other side of town but they were in a sticky situation.

Literally.

They were battling Mumbo as he once again tried to steal from the local bank. There were making fairly good progress to but in a way to buy time, Mumbo waved his wand the members of the titans were blown away, in different directions.

Raven and Beast Boy who were standing together at that time were blown the farthest away from the city, they were near road exits and a growth of trees.

The worst part they found, was they were stuck together by a huge wad of gum, they tried pulling at it and stretching it, but since it was magicked by the wand, it stayed strong.

Since neither could really fly without somewhat dragging the other along, they were stuck with walking.

Raven wasn't sure what was worse.

The what felt like hundreds of leaves in her hair and sticking to her clothes, having to walk what would most likely be miles just to get back into city limits or the fact she was stuck to Beast Boy.

'Well...' She thought as she took a sidelong glance at him, he wasn't being overly annoying and he did try to be helpful when they were trying to get the gum that was sticking them together off.

Looking at the sky she thought 'I guess it isn't too bad being stuck to him...'

"Soooo Raven, any special people in your life at the moment?"

And the thought that being stuck to Beast Boy flew right out her head, and she was now thinking of how much she'd rather not go in the direction the conversation was surely heading to.

Beast Boy was looking away from her and coughed a few times when Raven remained silent.

"I mean cuz, you know... I was just uh wondering" Beast Boy fumbled with his words as he tried to get exactly what he wanted to know out.

"Where I would I find time to hang out with someone special? I'm around you guys almost all of the time" Raven was finally able to say.

"Uh... well um. Do you see anyone special in our group?" Beast Boy mentally groaned at how weird that came out and was pounding his head against a wall.

While Raven just stared at him with wide eyes, a light blush spreading across her cheeks.

She had no reason to blush, no reason at all to even turn pink in the slightest. But she did and she had no idea why.

So instead of answering the question, she just started ahead pretending she didn't hear it.

"Well uh, do you?" Beast Boy was seriously yelling at himself for pushing the matter but seeing his normally stoic friend blush made him curious. If he were to be completely honest with himself, he could admit that he had feelings for the empath and hoped with everything that she felt the same for him and would be absolutely crushed if she didn't.

But realistically, he denied the feelings he felt for her, although more often than not, he ended up showing that he cared for her.

While Beast Boy had his mental dilemma of wanting to know and not wanting to know the answer to the question, Raven was mentally trying to calm herself before her powers went and destroyed something in her embarrassment.

" I would have to say, I find you all very good friends. Hopefully the others will be able to defeat Mumbo, making the spell drop and we will be able to join them"

'There' Raven thought to herself 'Go with the diplomatic answer, and hopefully he'll drop the subject''

Either Beast Boy was obviously stupid which he sometimes was or he really just didn't notice how Raven was trying her best not to answer the question and move on to a different subject.

"Yeah okay, but don't you have a favorite? Or like one of us you like like more than the others?" Beast Boy stated leaning in slightly closer to Raven.

Raven could feel her face heating up once more and again looked away from Beast Boy.

"Well what about you? Do you have your favorite person out of all of us?" Raven asked turning his previous question back on him.

That stumped Beast Boy leaving him thinking, Raven gladly taking the opportunity to try to get closer to their destination by walking faster, even if it meant dragging Beast Boy along.

" I would say Cyborg is my closest friend but I would pick you as my favorite."

Raven completely froze.

She didn't know what to say, what to think. What exactly do you say to that.

Beast Boy was blushing and staring very hard at the sky but he wanted to tell her how he felt and now was better than any other time.

"You're smart and pretty. You don't make jokes a lot but you have a quick wit. I know I can be annoying at times but you're always usually kind to me. So, yeah. You're my favorite."

Raven was still quiet and as the silence grew longer, the more Beast Boy began to feel crestfallen and embarrassed.

They had just reached the edge of city limits when Raven finally said "You're my favorite too" just loud enough for Beast Boy to hear, a strong blush highlighting her cheeks.

Beast Boy merely smiled like an idiot once he took in her words.
