Mockingjay

When you sang,

Those last calling notes,

Of a flying girl.

Did you realise?

Did you know?

When her dad,

Went out and sang,

For the last time.

Did you realise?

Did you know?

Did you see,

Did you hear,

When the light,

Went out for her.

When a girl died,

For the greater good,

Did you realise?

Did you know?

You were there,

Did you realise,

That you,

Bear more grief then,

Humans.

Did you realise?

Did you know?

So you

Sing

And

Copy

And

Call

But you are there,

To bear their grief.

Did you realise?

Did...You...Know?

A/N. Hello again everyone! This has been floating around for ages in my head but I'm not to pleased with how it turned out. Oh well. Flame if you must but please leave something so I can contact you and I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to make this poem better. Thanks.

P.s. Sorry, couldn't resist putting in a Harry Potter reference. Did anyone catch it?
