This story practically wrote itself when I realised Kathryn Beaumont voiced both Wendy and Alice. The idea's been in my head for months now and, though it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, I still hope someone will enjoy it.
It had been years since Peter Pan and Wendy's adventures in Neverland, yet for some peculiar reason, she could still fly. Could it really be possible that pixie dust lasted for such a long time? Certainly not. Yet what other explanation did she have? And once, while flying through the city of London one night, a young girl caught her eye. They seemed to be around the same age, and this girl, this little blonde girl, just had a quality that drew Wendy toward her. What that quality was, though, she could not put a finger on. This encounter happened to be during the time she'd searched tirelessly for the land called Neverland. So without a second thought, she rapped on the window. Once, twice, thrice. Until finally, the girl opened the window for her. "Curiouser and curiouser," the blonde said the moment the window was thrown open, her voice frighteningly similar to her own. "Are you from Wonderland?" Confused, Wendy tilted her head to the side. Wonderland? Was there such a land? And could it be possible she was actually speaking of the same place? Neverland sure was full of wonders. And if she didn't know the name of the island, she'd probably be calling it something of that likes as well. "Actually, I was wondering if you could point me to Neverland," Wendy declared bravely. For who could think she was mad to search for the place while she was still floating in the air? "No… But would you like to come in? Flying must be quite tiring." Wendy wanted to answer that no, flying was not the least bit tiring! It was quite the opposite of tiring! But instead, as she stepped through the window, she said "Thank you. I'm Wendy." The blonde curtsied at her. "I'm Alice."
