I've always loved rain. For as long as I can remember it's been my favorite type of weather. When it's raining it seems like everything bad in the world is being washed away. I always like to watch the rain outside so I can hear the pitter patter of the rain drops falling. When it's just a nice light rain I can go out and play in it. When it's a hard rain I like to just stand in it. Thunderstorms are the best the unexpected flash of lighting agaist the night sky lighting up the world for a brief second of blue, then the great boom of the thunder always makes me jump when I've gotten to caught up in watching the rain. When I was younger my mom and I would play a game, when the lighting flashed we'd start counting it off till the boom of the thunder, and we would do that everytime we seen lighting and it would tell us how long we had till the storm was over. I dont know what it was the made me start to love thunderstorms, but while others dispise it, I love it. While others cant wait for the sun to shine, I cant wait till I see those dark, gray rain clouds take over the sky. When the weather man predicts a storm others piss and moan, while I cant wait for the next show. Some cant sleep when a storm is out, I've always found it to be the best lullaby. The world outside always smells clean agian while its raining. Rain is natures form of entertainment, a flash, boom, and pitter, patter. It's as if its makeing a song. Rain always relaxed me, snow made me want to play, sun made me want to swim, but rain always makes me want to just sit there and think, while I watch everything wash away.
