Merry Christmas everyone with health and happiness. This is a small Christmas story with our favorite Phantom. I don't own anything. Enjoy! :)

It was Christmas Eve and the entire Opera House was decorated in the most amazing colors and with the most beautiful ornaments. The railing of the staircase was decorated with a green garland. All the rooms and the offices had big wreaths on their doors. But the most impressive of all was the Christmas tree. It was almost six feet with different, colorful ornaments and little angels here and there. The star was so radiant that it was pulling all the gazes upon it. Madame Giry, Meg, and all the ballet rats were in the auditorium helping with the room's decorations. The only sound was the happy voices while the big smiles were upon every face. Except for one. Christine was sitting on a chair, really sad. Meg approacher her, wanting to know why her friend was like this.

"Christine, what's wrong? Why are you not helping? It's Christmas tomorrow. You should be happy."

Christine sighed. "Oh Meg, I wish I could. But I am sad because of Erik".

Meg sat beside her. "What happened?"

"I went to talk to him and he didn't speak to me. Not even looked at me. I don't know why he is like this. He is avoiding me", Christine said with a sad tone in her voice.

"I know what you mean child", Madame Giry said to the young girl. "That's because Erik doesn't like Christmas. He was alone these days until he met me. But, how could I spend the entire day with him? I had my own family and Erik didn't want to come to my house. But this time we will give him the best Christmas".

The girls approached the old woman.

"What do you have in mind, Mother?", Meg asked curiously.

"You'll see", she replied with a wicked smile.

On Christmas day…

Erik was hidden in the shadows watching a group of girls who were laughing and talking about their plans for Christmas.

'They are pathetic', he thought. He couldn't understand why they were so happy. He was not. He never was. Christmas was so lonely for him. Not a present, not friends, not even a Christmas tree. Not someone to pass the day with. With a sigh, he bowed his head and decided to return to his home. Alone.

As he was walking into the secret passages he heard voices. Voices which turned louder and louder as he was getting close to his home. When he reached his domain he didn't see anyone. But, suddenly, he jumped from fright.

"SURPRISE!".

He turned around and found three women looking at him with big smiles upon their faces.

"What's going on? What are you doing here?", he asked holding his heart.

"Surprise, Erik", Christine said pointing to the place beside the piano.

Erik looked there and he gaped his mouth open. There, beside the big organ, was a beautiful Christmas tree. All the rooms were decorated with garlands and ornaments. Erik was speechless. That was an amazing gesture, he could tell.

"This is… amazing. I can't believe it. Am I dreaming, right?"

Christine approached him.

"No Erik", she said holding his hands, "you are not dreaming. This is for you".

"But, Christine….. why?"

"Because you have spent this season of the year in solitude. But you are not alone anymore. From now on we will be together".

Erik kissed her knuckles.

"Yes Christine, we will be".

"Oh, I almost forgot", she said and gave him a little package. "This is for you".

"A present for me?", Erik asked and Christine nodded. He unwrapped the paper and found a pocket watch.

"That was my father's. I want to take it".

"Oh Christine, are you sure? It has a sentimental value for you."

"I know but I love you and I want to have it".

Erik smiled.

"Merry Christmas Erik".

"Merry Christmas my beloved Christine", he said and gave her a sweet kiss, knowing that they will always have each other.
