Prompt #137 (Plot Point) Delivering a message
"You better watch your back where Chic is concerned." Charles frowned darkly at the tone of the voice across the line. "I'm telling you that Chic will figure out a way to destroy you."
"Whom is this?" Charles demanded as he gripped the phone tighter against his ear.
"I'm just delievering a message is all." The voice spoke. "If you are smart Charles Smith then you would kick Chic out of your apartment; and out of your life for good." The line went dead.
Lowering the phone to place in the cradle Charles chest tightened in anger against whomever tried to cause trouble between himself and Chic.
