"I really like you, a lot" I heard a girl confess to Romeo Pasquale over the lockers. I lean over the crack between the lockers, squinting just to see the confession."I really know that you are serious about swimming, but, can't you give me a chance?" the girl pressed on.
'You know what, Roza D' Angelo, we shouldn't be here" Gabriele Geovanni harshly said. Woah, it's her first time today to call me by full name. I looked at her to see a scared-to-be-seen-and-I'm-so-late–now expression spread on her face. I gave a sigh.
"Oh come on, I wouldn't miss this one! It's a live, on-the-spot love confession." I pleaded. She eyed me, very frustrated now.
"ANOTHER live, on-the-spot love confession, AND to Romeo Pasquale AGAIN!" she angrily hissed at me, her forehead already red from frowning too much.
"And-" she continued but I held up a hand to stop her.
"I'm sorry, but all I want to focus on is nothing but swimming." Romeo shortly said. My mouth popped open, hanging. What did he just say?
That jerk! He's already good when it comes to swimming, so why doesn't he give the girl a chance? Some stupid water-minded loveless little turd! Waaaaaahhhh!
Then I heard some heels noisily thudding to our direction. I grabbed Gabbs (gabriele's nckname) to the corner of the lockers. Then I heard him walking and mumbling. And to our direction too. I froze but this time Gabbs pulled me out to the hallway, running around the field. Once we got to the Main Entrance, Gabbs glared at me, again.
"God! We were about to get caught!" she spat out, exhaling like a snake.
"Isn't it worth it?!" I sighed breathy, admiring how much courage the girl could have used.
"...you...are really....unbelievable!" she exclaimed, striding away from me, to the opposite road of my house.
"Have a good night!" I shouted back. She waved me off. As I was walking down the shortcuts I've already memorized, I was thinking on how mean that jerk was to every one who confessed to him. Who does he think he is?! If he was that good in swimming, well, I would find out tomorrow!
