A/N: I seem to like writing stories where Hermione steps out on Ron into Draco's arms. And they just end in tears or screaming, because no one really wants to let go. Oh well. Here's another one.

Ron talks to Hermione after finding out she's been cheating on him.

Read, review and check out my other fics. I do not own Harry Potter.

Ron just stared at Hermione from across the room, taking long slow breaths to calm himself down. He tried to control his temper but the results of that was evident from the papers strewn on the floor and the broken glass near the kitchen counter. She stared back at him, tears on her cheeks but anger in her eyes, cursing everything about him.

His throat was raw. He had done a lot of shouting, but now he couldn't shout any more. He was coming to terms with what she said and what she did.

His voice came out softly and steadily, surprising even himself. She stopped screaming long enough to hear him. "Hermione, I've loved you for so long. Admired you from afar but too scared to even begin talking to you about something like that. I tried to show in everything I did, said, lived for. Do you remember our wedding? What we vowed we would be for each other. I meant them."

She screeched back at him, "I remember them Ron! I remember mine! But I was unhappy. You weren't living up to them. All this talk of 'everything' didn't spill over into your actions after we got married."

Ron let out an annoyed sigh. "I've been trying to show you, every day. You always laughed, you always smiled. Everything you said to me, everything seemed right. I thought you felt the same way. I guess I'm not doing it right. But that doesn't mean I want to push you away. That I want to get away.

But people talk Hermione. I try not to listen but how can I ignore it if even my best friend is saying the same thing. I just need to ask you, I need to know. What does he do for you? What does he say to you? What am I not doing?"

Hermione flared up again, furious at how rational he was being because it just made her feel worse and more guilty. But she wasn't about to back down now. "You want to know? He calls me baby all night long. He caters to my needs." She got up in his face, wanting to cause him some pain. "All. Night. Long."

Ron was tired of being angry, tired of fighting. He let her get in his face.

"Why did you need him? Where was I that you couldn't find me? I'm always willing to talk to you. I love you Hermione."

Hermione laughed, poking him the chest, "You talk? You mean between bites."

He took the gibe in stride, trying to contain this mess. She wouldn't rile him up just to make herself feel better. "I guess I was blind to it all then. I thought I was doing the right thing. How close are you to him?"

Hermione looked down now, she didn't expect this question. She wasn't close to the man. He was just something she needed.

Ron just absorbed her silence. He grabbed her hands and pulled her so he could look into her eyes, "My love never touched you then."

He left their hands fall and then left her in the chaos, amidst the destruction. Hermione fell to the floor in a fresh stream of tears. What had she done?
