"Kagome, Get up! I wont tell you again! You'll be late for your new school!" Kagome's mother yelled up the stairs. Kagome groaned and rolled over.

'Why in the world do I have to get up so early?' she wondered. Her bedside clock read 5:30. "Mom!" she screamed, "It's 5:30! Why do I have to get up so early!"

"Because your school starts in half an hour! Miroku and Sango will be here any minute!" Her mom hollered back.

Grumbling to herself Kagome pulled a on a plain black T-shirt and a pair of jeans. Brushing her hair a few times she ran down stairs and had just grabbed her backpack when a horn honked outside. "Coming!" she yelled, grabbing an apple on the way out the door.

Waiting in the car were her two best friends, Miroku and Sango. They had just transferred to a school called Shikon High. It was for kids who needed discipline. Since Kagome and her friends had ACCIDENTLY burned down their old school's cafeteria, they were being sent there as punishment. What their parents didn't know was that instead of teaching them , the school trained their kids in fighting and war. Later those kids usually became soldiers or bodyguards.

Even from a distance Kagome could tell that this was a bad school. Several of the windows were broken and all the kids were carrying a weapon of some kind. She saw pikes, swords, daggers, bow and arrows, and even a battle ax. Kids were comparing weapons with each other, several were sharpening or polishing them . To their surprise the weapons weren't confiscated from them. Actually the guards seemed to be making sure everyone had a weapon. Once inside Kagome could immediately tell that this school was different. They had only about three classrooms but at least five gyms, as far as she could see.

After asking someone for directions they found their way to the office. Waiting there was a kind looking lady and a rather grumpy looking boy. The boy had long silver hair, golden eyes, and puppy dog ears on his head, he was also carrying a sword swinging from his belt. The old lady moved forward, a short sword riding on her hip, "Hello!" she smiled warmly, "I'm Keade, the school secretary. You must be the new kids, this is Inuyasha, he'll be your guide! Wait here while I get your schedules!"

After a long pause Sango spoke up "You're a half-demon right?" Inuyasha just nodded. " Tell me what's with this school, why does everyone have weapons and where are the classrooms?"

"They never told you then?" Inuyasha asked. "Well this is a training school. Weapon training?" he added as they looked at him quizzically "you'll each receive a weapon if you don't already have one and you'll be trained in how to use it."

Just then Keade came back holding several papers in her hand. "Here you go, now you all have the same schedules as Inuyasha. I suggest you hurry, class starts in ten minutes!"
