Prompt; " It would be really nice if you could do some funny angry Gibbs short. I have no quotes or something, so I'mma just cheer you on okay, thanks. Doesn't have to deal anything with romance! "
A specifically harder case than most, leaving the team constantly getting back to square one left their fearless leader grumpier than usual. The truth holding no worries. Finally back to square one for the third time, taking cautious baby-steps and roaming through data, hours of staring at the board with very little to no talk it popped in young Bishop's head. Bolting to her computer like a child, retrieving the laptop and balancing it on one knee.
"I have an idea, or at least, something helpful."
The young female agent said, practically wobbling, as McGee took the laptop from her to hold it so that it was at head level. Proper Gentlemen, that and he didn't want to see it fall.
"Speak Bishop."
An intruding silver-haired male barked as he bounced into the room, downing the rest of his brown liquid from the foam cup and tossing it into the trash can as he crowded around the rest of his team to watch the board as she hooked up the laptop.
"We didn't think John Williams had a reason to kill Smitt, but he was his rank. Every time Williams was going to be promoted, Smitt was in front of him. So, he was basically stealing his job, which means his paycheck."
The female was quick to explain to those around her, pointing out documents of how both were considered for higher intelligence paychecks at times and how Smitt always over-ruled Williams.
"You saying he killed him because he was ranking up faster?"
DiNozzo quickly asked, quipping almost to catch on. Attempting to shorten what Bishop had said into something understandable as he stood there, searching throughout his brain for some kind of movie reference.
"Killing the competition."
Gibbs quipped as he grabbed his gun and car keys, getting ready to bounce away from the group angrier than usual.
"Boss, where are you going? Williams is downstairs!"
The male called out to that of his senior, watching as he smacked the wall where the elevator button stood and he went ignored so McGee whispered between the three agents.
"He's either going out for coffee, or we're getting a new case."
The three joining in flinching with one another at the very idea. The several ideas of how Gibbs would even go on killing someone on such an off day like today didn't seem quite too pretty.
"Keep away Probies, we're treading in deep waters."
/ Thank you all so much for the requests. I'm going to attempt to post twice a day, probably only once depending on how busy I am and how I'm feeling. Keep requesting, because without requests I'm totally lost! Remember, you're beautiful in every single way. Review! (Also, I'm thinking of making a chapter-ed series, can I grab some thoughts on that?)
