No One's POV

"Nina! Please! I'm sorry!" Fabian Rutter shouted as Nina Martin ran out of the room in tears.
Here's a brief summary of what happened, Patricia Williamson was texting Joy Mercer, her best friend, and Amber Millington brought up the fact that Fabian and Joy had dated and he loved her, but they broke up. And he told Nina that they had never dated. So, he lied to her and she broke up with him.
"Thanks Amber. Now my girlfriend just broke up with me!" Fabian said, annoyed and stomped to his and Eddie Sweet's room, slamming the door behind him.
He did love Nina, he loved her to death. But there was a part of him that still loves Joy. After all, she was his first love. And Amber bringing up Joy, brought back old feelings for her that he thought were gone.
But he loves them both. How can you pick between two girls? I mean, he just doesn't want to do that. If he picks Nina, Joy will be upset, but if he picks Joy, Nina will be crushed. He loves both girls and both girls love him.
Why is love so challenging? He thought to himself, flinging himself down on his bed. He just needs some time to himself to decide who he loves.

Two Hours Later…
Well, he thought for quite some time. But he knows who he loves. And he needs to tell her.
He got up and ran out his bedroom door, upstairs to Nina and Amber's room. He knocked on the door. A teary eyed Nina opened the door. She was about to slam the door in his face, but he stopped the door with his foot.
"Please, just hear me out." Fabian said, ready to get down on his knees, begging.
"You have five minutes." Nina said dryly, letting him in the room then closing it.
"I love you, Nina. But I also love Joy. And I just didn't want to hurt either of your feelings. But I love you more than I ever loved Joy." Fabian said.
"Why should I believe you? You loved Joy first, so why don't you want to be with her? I'm your second choice." Nina said.
"No, you are not, nor will you ever be my second choice. I read this thing, it said, 'If you love two people at the same time, choose the second one. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second*.' So please believe me. I love you, not Joy." Fabian said, holding both of Nina's hands.
Nina looked up at him with tears in her eyes.
"I love you too." She muttered, barely audible, but he heard it.
He pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her.

Nina would always be his first choice. No matter what.

Pretty short, but I wrote that in about 10 minutes, just a few minutes ago. It's hot off the press! Wow, okay, I'm crashing from my coffee this morning. Good luck to me.
