I found this video of youtube, it's a Matt&Mello vid to Badboy. So I got inspired to write a songfic to it.
Remember the feelings, Remember the Day.
Matt glanced up from his computer and looked at Mello. He looked so different from the Whammy days. His feminine features marred by the scar, his eyes held a look of insanity. Yet he still wore his hair the same way, he still loved his chocolate. What had happened in those five years since he left Whammys?
You once made this promise to stay by my side, but after some time you pushed me aside.
Matt went back to work working. He remembered how back at the Whammy house, Mello had promised to defend him from the bullies and protected him…Yet now he just used him for the techy stuff. As if he didn't care anymore.
You never thought that a girl could be strong. Now I show you how to go on.
Matt was now driving away from the scene of Takada's kidnapping. He had shown him that he could be more than the tech guy. He could defend himself. He was useful. Matt started to wonder if he would survive this suicide mission. And if he didn't, would Mello be able to move on with life? Without him, Matt wondered if Mello would have even survived the bomb?
You can be my badboy, but understand that I don't need you again. No I don't need you again.
Matt stopped. He was surrounded by Takada's bodyguards. "So this is it" He thought. He got out of the car. "Maybe if I give them a reason to keep me alive, I will stay that way." He started wisecracking, but he could tell it was to no avail. "I'm sorry Mello. Maybe I'll see you wherever dead people go. Sometime." Then Mail Jeevas felt the pain of several bullets piercing his body, and all was black.
