Sonny's POV
Today was probably the worst day of my life. First, as I was driving to work, My tire blew and I ran out of gas in the middle of the highway. I had to call a tow truck and had to take the city bus to work. Fun.
Second, when I got to work I ran to the door, since I was late and tripped and fell, face first onto the pavement. I then ended up breaking my nose. I had to go to the So Random! Stage with a bruised nose. Great.
Now I am watching them rehearse the sketch that I'm not in, Dolphin Boy. That one I have to admit is pretty funny.
"Sonny, start getting ready! Were rehearsing Sicky Vicky next!" Marshall yelled to me backstage.
I sighed and went to my dressing room to put my costume on. Just then my phone Moo'ed. It was...Oliver?
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Sonny, did you hear?" My brother, Oliver, cried.
"No, what happened?" I asked worriedly.
"Mom..." Oliver began but burst into tears.
"Mom what?" I screamed now in tears myself.
"Ssshee's D-Ddead!" Oliver said crying real hard.
I didn't respond and just dropped my phone. The phone broke in half once it hit the floor. First my Dad died, now my Mom.
"WHYYY! Why Her? Why not me god?" I screamed.
I plopped on the couch in my dressing room and cried my eyes out.
"Knock, Knock." I heard on my door.
"Come in." I said depressed.
Then I regret my decision when Chad walked in.
"Hey, I heard screaming. Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
"No." I answered bluntly.
"Oh, Sonny, whats the matter?" He asked now cradling me on the couch.
"Mmmy Mmom, she's dead." I cried into his chest.
There was a moment of silence but then eventually, Chad responded.
"Shh, Shh, Sonny, its okay, Shh." He said calmly as he began to sing me a lullaby.
"Sonny! You ready?" Marshall yelled as he barged into my dressing room.
"Oh, Sonny, whats wrong?" Marshall asked as I still hid my face in Chad's chest.
"Her Mom died." Chad said running his fingers through my hair.
"Oh, well I'll leave you two alone. We'll practice the toenail fairy sketch instead." He said as he walked out.
"Chad, you can leave if you want." I said rubbing my eyes.
"I would never leave you." He said stroking my face.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"What I'm trying to say is that I've loved you since the first time I met you and I will be there for you no matter what." He said smiling.
"All I can say Chad is me too."
He smiled and I couldn't help but press my lips against his. He immediately kissed back.
"Can you promise me something?" I asked.
"Anything."
"Never let go." I said and smiled.
"Okay, I promise." He said and kissed my forehead
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too Sonshine." He said back.
"Good, that's all I wanna hear." I said smirking.
He laughed and we lied on that sofa for the rest of the day, together. I now know that he will never let go.
