This is just something I made up on the spot…

It was a terribly hot day, and it didn't exactly help to watch a sadist with a bazooka and a Chinese girl with an umbrella-gun fight. That was, if you weren't the 2 people that were fighting.

To the two people fighting, it was amazing. Everything was fast and crazy. Sweat dripped down their faces, but they didn't care. They were having the time of their lives. Adrenaline pumped through their bodies as they attacked for the hundredth time.

"Tired yet, sadist?" the orange-haired Chinese girl taunted.

"In your dreams, china." The crimson-eyed sadist said back, with a smirk on his face.

They charged again.

"Sadist? How long have we been fighting?"

"I don't know. About 3 hours, why? Little china getting tired?" the sadist replied, mockingly.

"Yeah…. Maybe…just a little bit….." the girl managed to gasp out between breaths.

This naturally shocked the sadist. She has never given in like that before.

"Fine, take a break, but I WIN this round." He said playfully, while sticking his tongue out.

"Okay… okay…" she sighed and laid herself down on the soft grass. He laid down next to her.

These two people were Okita Sougo and Kagura.

Kagura took out her buns and her long, orange hair cascaded past her shoulders and down to her waist. She laid her head down gently. She took a peek at Sougo, only to see him laying down next to her, with his idiotic sleeping mask on. She unconsciously smiled and leaned forward to kiss him. She quickly realised what she was doing and started blushing madly. Kagura shuffled back and laid down again, a safe distance from Sougo.

Soon after, Kagura drifted into quite a deep sleep.

After he made sure that Kagura was completely asleep, Sougo slowly lifted his mask and shuffled over to Kagura. He just stayed there, watching her beautiful face. Every now and then, there'd be a twitch of her nose or a furrow of her eyebrows, which to him, were adorable. He gently stroked her hair and smiled.

"Mmmm….Sadist…." she mumbled in her sleep.

He chuckled. Kagura could be so adorable sometimes. He took her smaller, smoother hands in his own and drew little circles on it with his finger. Kagura giggled. Sougo loved it when she smiled. He loved how her eyes lit up and her face shone.

Slowly, emerald eyes began to open.

"Hmm? Sadist?"

She saw the sleeping figure next to her, with her hand in his and his head next to hers. He stirred in his sleep and sleepily woke up.

"Hmm? China." He stated blankly.

She looked at him and he looked at her. He smiled warmly at her and she couldn't help but smile back.

"Why did you come here to sleep with me?" she asked

"Hmm…. I was getting lonely?" he tried. "…and because I love you." He added.

Kagura's skin tone went at least 10 shades redder at the statement.

"Wha-What are you saying?" she stuttered, blushing beet red.

"I'm saying that I love you." He replied. "Do you love me too?"

"OF COURSE! I-I-I mean… umm…. Yeah… I do." She stuttered again.

She was so adorable, Sougo couldn't stop himself. Before any of them knew it, he swooped down and kissed her full on the lips. The kiss was sweet and soft. Kagura wrapped her arms around Sougo's shoulders as they sat up. Sougo's arm encircled Kagura's smaller waist.

After a while, they broke apart, gentle smiles on their faces. Sougo pulled Kagura closer into a tight hug.

"I love you." He mumbled into her bright orange hair.

"I-I love you too." She mumbled into his shirt.

He smiled into her hair. She was just too cute sometimes.
