Without further ado, here is the 100 Day Drabble Challenge Day 5.

"Toc-lit!"

Everyone in the room stared at the baby in shock. A giggling, eight-month-old Ponyboy sat clapping his hands and making gurgling baby noises. Of course, this was not why everyone's jaw had dropped. Ponyboy was adorable all the time. No, they were shocked because baby Pony had just said his very first word: chocolate. (That's what it sounded like, anyway. Really, no one was surprised either way.)

Stacy Curtis snapped out of it first. She grabbed her youngest son and swooped him up in the air. "That's right, baby, chocolate! Darryl, get Pone some chocolate cake. I think our little baby deserves it." Ponyboy seemed ecstatic with this turn of events. He absolutely adored chocolate cake.

Darryl Curtis came back with chocolate cake for all. He passed some to Sodapop and Darry, who were still staring open-mouthed at their baby brother. He gave a small bit to Ponyboy, who promptly made the hugest mess ever, probably only getting two bites into his mouth. Darryl also had a piece for him and his wife to share. As they ate their cake and watched their boys, their hearts filled with love for their family. They shared a kiss (with a chores of "Eww"s from Sodapop and Darry).
