"Grizzly or mountain lion?" Rosalie asked.

"You already know what I want, Rose." Emmett laughed, enjoying himself.

The two vampires ran through the forest. They picked up the scent of two bears a few miles away. They'd ventured farther than usual to hunt tonight, wanting something especially tasty. Grizzly bear was Emmett's favorite.

They ran faster when they picked up the scent, thirstier than usual. Emmett planned on taking the bigger one, the male. It was mating season, so the bears were extra aggressive, just the way he liked it.

They came to a clearing where they found the two bears.

Emmett's lips pulled back, baring his teeth in a snarl, while his prey did the same. The bear stood on its hind legs and swatted at him with its huge claws. Emmett continued to growl and ran at the bear, knocking it to the ground with the force of the impact. He and the bear struggled, appearing to be wrestling, both snarling and clawing at each other. Emmett crushed the bear's shoulder and tore at it with his teeth. A few minutes later, he'd drained the animal of its blood and stood.

"Hasn't Esme told you not to play with your food?" Rosalie asked, having finished her meal minutes ago.

The dead female lay on the ground. The blond vampire was spotless, as if the animal had just dropped dead at her feet without any action on her part.

"It makes it more fun." Emmett smirked.

His face, neck, hands, and shirt were covered in blood.

"You're such a messy eater, like a toddler." Rosalie remarked.

"Toddlers aren't married to sexy blonds like you, babe." Emmett stated, trying to wipe off some of the blood.

Rosalie smiled, "Let me help you with that, Emmybear."

The blond vampire approached her husband, leaving nearly no space between them. She lifted his hand and stuck his finger in her mouth, licking off the blood. She did the same with the other nine and moved on to his neck.

Rosalie kissed his collarbone and ran her tongue up the side of his neck to his jaw line. She smiled smugly as her husband visibly shivered.

"Rose..." Emmett nearly moaned.

He barely remembered heading back home, his mind on other things. The next thing Emmett knew he was walking in the door, Rosalie close to his side.

Their adoptive mother greeted them, "Good, you're back. Oh, Emmett!"

"What?" he barely registered the disapproval in her voice.

"You got blood all over your shirt again. Give it to me so I can put it in the washer." Esme said, "I swear, you're the only one I have to worry about with blood stains. Why do you have to maul your food?"

Emmett removed his shirt, "If you want, I could just not wear clothes. It'd be easier when you do laundry."

Esme rolled her eyes. Emmett didn't care if he went around in nothing but boxers.

"Forget about your shirt, Emmett." Rosalie pushed closer to her husband, "You have more important things to think about."

His wife kissed his cheek and walked humanly slow up the stairs, swinging her hips seductively. Emmett more than willingly followed quickly behind her, dropping the forgotten shirt on the floor.

Esme sighed and picked up the shirt, starting on the laundry.

They sounded like grizzlies.
