Bonds of the clan.
Each day is a struggle for us
Hunting.
Watching
And fighting.
Seasons change and our lives remain the same
We see no cat to blame.
And no shame for our actions.
As Starclan to protect us
We will be safe
And our ancestors watch over us all.
There may be cats who aren't fine
Sickness
Deaf
No sight even.
I've seen all of these
And our pleas to Starclan to keep them safe.
Along their journeys.
Pain.
Revenge.
Ambition.
Everything we watch for to stop.
Even in our dreams.
We hear the screams.
Of a battle.
Our breaths are steady
As we sleep
Knowing we are ready
If the time comes.
Keeping the forest steady.
In balance.
And peace.
