It was a beautiful cloudless night and the moon called Ranger-7 was shining brightly upon the citizens of Shuggazoom and peaked into there rooms like a mother checking upon their sleeping children and everyone was safely asleep in there beds dreaming of nothing but sweet dreams even the monkey force were safely tucked away in their beds but that silence was quickly broken by a loud cry that cut even though the super robot and also awoke a certain silver monkey from his deep slumber. Antauri peeked a blue eye open when he heard the loud crying and slowly moved from his comfy bed to a small crib near the smooth rock where he usually meditated when he had the free time and when he got to the crib he gently peeked into it his tired but wise blue eyes staring down at the baby inside who had stopped crying for the moment but now had a bad case of the hiccups. Antauri couldn't help but smile at the youngster as he used his skills to lift the baby from it's crib and into his arms adjusting the blanket around the child as he walked over to the oak rocking chair and sat down removing some of the blanket so he could see the babies face as he spoke in a soft barely audible voice.
"you are up early today my little Luna."
Antauri closed his eyes for a moment as he rocked the baby and began to gently sing to her..
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine..
Antauri stopped rocking the little human in his arms and slowly made his way over to his own bed stopping only for a moment to look at a picture of the team in front of the super robot on the nightstand before getting into his bed covering both him and Luna up with a blanket.
You make me happy when skies are grey
Antauri couldn't believe it had already been a month since Chiro had died and passed on The Power Primate to their beautiful daughter and it was even harder for Antauri because Luna was almost the spitting image of Chiro even down to her baby blue eyes which were now half shut.
You never know dear how much I love you
Antauri let out a soft yawn and looked down at the now sleeping child giving her a soft kiss on the forehead before drifting off to sleep himself barley even whispering the last part of the song before drifting of to the dream world.
