Peanut Butter and Jelly

By: Carol Molliniere

A/N: OK, this time my romantic side has finally lost it. I have fluff, and it's for Phineas and Ferb! But don't worry, I'm coming back soon with more lovely stories, and an update for "The Way I Loved You"!

Disclaimer: I don't own Phineas and Ferb, whoever it belongs to. (*cough* Dan Povenmire *cough* Jeff "Swampy" Marsh *sneeze*)

Isabella sat on the curb of Phineas and Ferb's house, wondering what they were doing. She was wondering if she should say it to him or not. At least not yet.

Well, she wanted to tell him. It was Valentine's Day, wasn't it?

Phineas looked at Isabella, sandwich (from unused peanut butter) in hand. He wondered what Isabella was doing on the curb. Didn't she want to know what they were doing like she always did everyday?

"Gosh, Ferb," he said to his stepbrother, "Isabella looks like she's thinking about something. I'll go and talk to her, OK?"

Ferb gave a thumbs-up to Phineas and hit the 'off' switch on the humongous machine they were making. Phineas went over to talk to Isabella.

"Hey, Isabella, what's wrong?" Phineas asked her, putting a hand on Isabella's shoulder. By the way she jumped; it could have been the atomic bomb coming off on her shoulder instead of just a tap on the shoulder from Phineas.

Her crush.

"Nothing, I was just thinking," Isabella said, going back into Dreamland, but Phineas stopped her by giving her half his sandwich. "Here, you can take it."

"Thanks, Phineas," Isabella said, taking the sandwich and eating it. "So, what 'cha doin'?"

"We're building a machine that automatically changes your clothes without having to go into girl's rooms and/or boy's rooms to do it." Phineas said. "That sounds awesome," Isabella said. "Yeah! And the best part is: it runs on imagination!" Phineas added. Isabella smiled; that was cheery Phineas Flynn for you.

"So, anyway, what 'cha thinkin'?" Phineas said, imitating Isabella. Isabella has always found it cute when Phineas copies her trademark, even when she's not around.

Isabella stood up from the curb and kissed Phineas. He didn't know how to react at first; he had never kissed anyone before. That and her breath started to smell like the sweetest thing known to kids: the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

But then he kissed back, and for some reason, he was enjoying it.

The two kids were lost in their thoughts, but there was nothing else for them to say instead of, "I love you."

And everything was perfect.

Well, almost everything.

Ferb stood at the gate. He snickered mischievously.

Damn, I just had to. Fluff took over for a sec…Ferb is such a stalker sometimes. Not that I don't like it...

Anyway, please review.
