"You look gorgeous Lil, mummy's little princess!"

"Mummy, I'm not a princess."

"Nonsense Lily, you look beautiful!"

"Lily- Lil, why are you crying? What's wrong honey?"

"I-I'm not pretty enough to be a princess."

"What on earth are you talking about? Your are beautiful Lil"

"I'm sorry I wasn't prettier, like Victoire or Dom."

"Lily, I love you, sure Vic and Dom are pretty, but remember their mother is Phlegm! She's a Veela they've got to be pretty. But you, you are stunning inside and out. I couldn't ask for a better daughter, now let's get this dress on!"

Hogwarts, Lily's seventh year.

Finally it was time for Lily to graduate; sure she didn't want to leave, not at all! But she was sick of being kept enclosed, unable to explore, see what's out there!

Sure Lily's friends had a lot of fun, dating, hogsmede, balls, but Lily wasn't as shallow as them, she was intelligent; (sure maybe not as smart as Rose, or Molly, but she was still a straight O student.)

She wanted to learn more! She wanted to explore, see what opportunities there were to cease.

Lily examined herself in the full length mirror, she had (well she thought she did) flabby legs, and a chubby stomach, and she longed to have a perfect toned body like Vic, Dom or Rose. Sure everyone said she was beautiful, she guessed she could be she had long auburn red hair, flowing in long mermaid waves down her back. She had big brown eyes, full of warmth, laughter and excitement, (and I guess she did have a perfect body, she was NOT flabby at all!)

Though she wished she could be a princess for her mother, but she just wasn't.

She slipped into her ball gown for her graduation, examining herself closely in the mirror she had been so critical on herself in front of so many times previously, her dress was amazing, clinging to all the right places, and emphasising in all the right ways. It was a long purple gown, layered with rose petal shaped pieces of fine fabric; it stooped low at the back, stopping at the inward cave behind her shoulder blades. Her makeup had been done by Dom, it was superb! Her eyes looked a beautiful chocolate shade, her lips were full and her skin was flawless.

Finally it was time for her to walk to the dance floor, within minutes she was whisked away by the handsome, bad boy Scorpius Malfoy, they danced, they laughed, and they kissed.

She had never felt so alive or beautiful in her life, he picked her up, hoisting her legs around his waist, all the while kissing her passionately, she held on around his neck, like her life depended on it, each kiss longing and hungry, a new fire burning up inside her, until of course their parents interrupted.

She blushed and looked ashamed, unhatched herself from Scorpius and stood by his side awkwardly. Their fathers looked at each other uncertainly, then suddenly erupted into broad smiles,

"If you must."

Then Draco Malfoy, did something extremely out of the ordinary, shook Harry's hand, and apologised.

Shifting her gaze from the fathers Lily looked towards her mother, she was crying softly into a handkerchief

"Mum, I'm sorry."

"No, no, its fine, it's just, y-you've found your prince, finally, your my princess Lil."

Finally Lily was a princess.
