(A/N: This isn't that great, but I figured I should add something to the Wicked project. It's based off of [guess what?] "A Sentimental Man," of course. This one was kind of hard to write for. And it's dedicated to my cousin, because she and I were texting while I was typing this. If this is full of typos, blame her. Enjoy!)
A Sentimental Man
Jacob has always wanted to have children.
He has always wanted to play with them, hug them, tuck them into bed and kiss them good night.
He knows that it was something he would never have when he married Leah, and he's okay with that.
But he knows the reason why he is so happy when Leah tells him her news.
He knows why he is so happy when Leah tells him that she is pregnant.
It's because what he thought he was giving up is coming back to him.
It's because Jacob has always wanted to raise a family, and now he finally will.
And when he puts his hand tenderly on Leah's rounded stomach, he knows that now he has everything.
When he tells Leah that they will be the best parents ever, he knows that he isn't lying.
Jacob has always wanted to have children.
And now his wish is finally coming true.
(A/N: Reviews are love!)
