A/N: Hello there! This is just a collection of really short one shots which, for the case of this first one, I thought up at six in the morning with no sleep whatsoever. I hope you like!
1. Haircut
"Hugh! Hugh!"
Hugh turns back to see a girl running up towards him, breathless. The tumult of Castelia City at seven in the morning made it difficult for him to hear her. Despite that, she stood out for being the only girl with cute doe eyes, rosy cheeks, and thin smiling lips. He can almost feel his chest palpitations the closer she got.
"What's up, Rosa?" He says, after the girl caught up to him. Her face looked extremely red and flushed.
"I called you so many times! You're walking so fast!" Rosa says exasperatingly. He notices her breathing patterns have calmed down. "If you didn't have that shock of a hair, I would've completely lost you in the crowd. Also, I think you need a haircut."
"Sorry about that." Hugh grins, and they start walking together again. This time he pays more attention to his companion. "Also, my hair looks fine."
"Everyone else thinks otherwise."
"They can think all they want, I'm still not getting a haircut."
"But your hair is really long now, Hugh."
"You're the one to talk," Hugh raises his eyebrow, "You're practically a carbon copy of Ripen Sell, or whoever she is."
"It's Rapunzel," Rosa corrects and narrows her eyes, "and, no, I'm not."
"Whatever, you need a haircut too, Ripen Sell."
"I don't need it as much as you do. It looks like Ho-oh flew down from the heavens and made a nest in your…once bald head, or something."
"It's not that bad…"
"Have you checked a mirror lately?"
"Yes, and according to it my hair makes me look even more handsome than I already am." He flashes her one of his signature winks.
"It makes you look like a hobo."
"A handsome hobo."
Rosa starts to laugh, oblivious to the growing number of people who were starting to give her weird looks. Her face turns red and flushed again, although it's not the same as a while ago. She looks even brighter, especially with her musical laughter and her lips spread across her face. As he watches her double over, Hugh doesn't notice his own lips curving into a smile.
"Bite me." She sticks out her tongue.
"Nah, I'll kiss you instead."
"Wait wh—"
