A/N: So hey guys, this is the third story I made so please do NOT criticize too harshly. So anyways…I do not own PJO or HoO. On with the story…..
Percy 1
I finally got a ring for my Wise Girl. It was beautiful, green and gray intertwined to make a circular shape and the gem was shaped into an owl with jades for its eyes and imperial gold for some of its feathers and the rest was celestial bronze. The best part was it was enchanted to turn into a sword or a dagger. All she needs to do is twist it, the bigger the twist the longer the blade.
We had just finished dinner and was walking to the campfire. That was where I was going to finally ask her to marry me. Only nine of us knew it, Nico, Jason, Piper, Reyna, Grover, Thalia, Frank, Hazel and Leo. Some gods knew too, who I asked help from.
As I walk to a stop next to Leo, Thalia gave me a thumbs up and Grover and Frank gave me a nod that said go for it dude.
I reached my seat and we started the campfire. Ten minutes later my T-shirt caught fire and I stood up "panicking." You see I had asked Leo to set me on fire since I was kinda fireproof. After that Annabeth would probably stand up and shout at me to pour some water over myself. Once I did that, Zeus would strike the ground before me showing the ring and a writing that would show the words "Would you me Wise Girl? –Seaweed Brain." I know it wasn't dramatic but if you don't have Annabeth on your side it's hard to make flashy plans.
I stood up, screaming and Annabeth stood up too.
"Percy! Percy! Calm down and pour water over you or you'll be burned to death! How did this happen anyway?" She screamed at me. The rest screamed too
I mentally snickered at her lack of knowledge, it was sure a first.
I knelt on one knee still screaming. I felt the familiar tugging in my gut and cool water cooled my body. Lightning crackled and thunder boomed, all according to plan.
Lightning came flashing down, striking- me. This time I cried out with real pain and surprise.
"PERCY!" Everyone screamed again.
The fire receded until it was only on my palm. It didn't hurt at all.
The moon was rising, slowly and majestically until it was exactly just behind us. The campfire3 dimmed and there was a romantic song being played on a flute. It was all in the plan that I didn't know about. Wow, I seriously pleased them with my acting, didn't I.
The fire on my palm went out and a box appeared. Since I was still kneeling, I looked at Annabeth and said…
"Annabeth, will you mar-OW-ry me?" She had slapped in the middle of the dramatic but she had tears in her eyes. She looked up, with her eyes closed. Then the campfire went out except for some which spelled: Yes…
I smiled. I was glad she said yes because I didn't want all my efforts to get this ring and the dramatic moment to be for nothing.
I lifted her up and kissed her. Then we began a full blown engagement party.
A/N: So… wasn't that sweet. Next chapter is a short wedding description then finding the CD the gods put the movie on… Then they watch
