Silence
Silence, Lingering whenever you're not with me.
It never lasted long.
Until I was torn from you,
You were torn from me.
The almost evergreen silence begun.
I just swallow all my fear and hopelessness,
And continue on the journey that seems pointless.
But, I'm experiencing new things.
Things I never felt.
And, maybe in time,
I can learn to enjoy the silence.
