I've written plenty of drabbles before, but this is my first one done for the Justice League cartoon; written as a present for Merlin Missy!
ADJUSTMENTS
Loving Shayera has caused John to make some adjustments in his life:
Keeping the fridge well-stocked with two different brands of beer, and some food that she likes but he wouldn't eat on a bet.
Buying a king-size bed, though he never sleeps on more than 1/3 of it.
Getting periodically whacked and woken in the middle of the night by a flexed wing.
Paying contractors big bucks to get a super-sized shower installed.
Cleaning feathers and long hair out of the shower drain every few days.
Waiting to use the bathroom while she preens.
And it's all worth it.
