He stands with me
In a fallen world where nothing lasts
Where immorality is praised
And cruelty increases
He is had my side.
He brings me hope
In a chaotic world
Where faith is criticized
And people start wars with one another
Making trust obsolete.
He gives me strength
When life drags me down
When people choose to cause harm just to feel superior.
He comforts me
After I feel like I've had all I can take
Or when tragedy rears its ugly head
Or when fear creeps up on me.
He stands up for me
When the adversity strikes
Making me feel guilt for my sins.
He paid my debt with His blood
So that I may be with Him when this life is over
Because He understands
More than anyone in this world ever will.
He is with me always
Because no one deserves to go it alone.
He is my Savior and King.
He is the Son of God.
He is Christ Jesus.
