A/n Well, I decided to go on with the Middle, even though everyone seems to have lost interest. Review.
"MAX!" I heard Iggy scream, usually things like free falling through the air don't affect us bird kids, but unexpectedly, when your wings are trapped in backpacks, not a good situation.
"I'm coming Iggy!" I screamed back, I pushed my arms out like Superman and propelled myself towards Iggy. Once I came to him, I grabbed his backpack and tried to unzip it. It came undone and I quickly ripped it off his wings. He spread them out and took to flight; I could hear his sigh of relief.
"Uh, Iggy, a little help here?" I asked.
"Oh yeah sure," he said, but it turned out he wasn't needed because as soon as he touched my backpack it vaporized. I instantly snapped out my wings and took flight, Iggy and I landed safely on a small hill.
"Oh, warrior queen, we have seen you fall from the sky! My people have been waiting for you for thousands of years!" I turned around to see where the musical voice was coming from. Behind me stood a pale small figure in a plain robe, she had washed out blond hair. She was so small she looked like one good wind could blow her over. She turned to the strangely dressed people behind her and said "The prophesied one has come! My people rejoice for our time of slavery is coming to an end! The warrior queen has come to save us from the harsh reign of Izlandi!" A mighty roar came from the crowd. I rolled my eyes at these unexpected circumstances and turned to Iggy to see what he thought, on his face I saw a look of pure joy.
"Max?" he said in a shaky voice "Max, I can see!"
A/n Yep that's it. Don't like it. Tough.
