Gringotts (Pairing (Draco/Harry), Christmas Theme Prompts (Christmas Cookies, Elves, Hot Chocolate), Getting Around (Draco/Harry)
-oOo-
They were curled up in front of the couch, the fire place roaring in front of them and large mugs of hot chocolate in their hands. Taking a sip from the hot liquid, Harry made note of the irresponsible amounr of liquor which was mixed with the drink. It was alright though. Christmas eve, the two of them curled under one small blanket, it was what Harry had been looking forward to all year.
Draco nudged him, his grey eyes still locked on the elf on the shelf, "I can take that thing down tomorrow right?"
"Yes," Harry chuckled. He grabbed one of the Christmas cookies from the platter and slide it into his mouth. He sighed at the sweet taste of ginger; Draco really was good in that kitchen.
He watched as Draco continued to eye the little elf with distrust. It was a silly Muggle tradition, the elf on the shelf. It was naïve to think that some little stuffed elf could report back to the North Pole any misdeed a child did. It hadn't taken Harry long to realize the lie. After all, no matter how much good he did, he always ended up with old socks and cleaning rags for Christmas. The presents under the tree appeared for Dudley no matter how poorly he behaved.
Shaking his head, he turned his mind from his childhood and began to focus on Draco. He was twirling a candy cane between his teeth, removing it long enough to take a sip from his own spiked chocolate. His blond hair was brushed to the side, and frames his flushed face in a way Harry found to be quite alluring.
Setting his cup of chocolate to the side, he grabbed Draco's and moved to set it on the coffee table. A mutter of frustration caught his ears as he took the mug. It was cut short as Harry adjusted himself so that he was straddling the other male.
"I'm thinking," Harry whispered, leaning forward, "that you and me bring Christmas in on a good note."
The light pink tinge to his cheek wasn't due to the alcohol running through his system. "You really need to learn how to flirt, Potter."
"Why flirt?" Harry asked, already running a hand through Draco's hair. The blond shivered as a long finger tickled behind his ear. "When I already have you right where I want you?"
Draco leaned forward, wrapping his own arms around Harry's waist and pulling him tighter against him. "Oh really, and what makes you say that?"
Harry didn't bother with a verbal response. Drawing Draco's face towards his, he didn't hesitate before devouring the other's lips. The alcohol running through their system brought an extra heat to the moment.
Draco pushed away, his eyes directed past Harry. "Potter?"
"Ya," Harry leaned closer, trying to initiate the kiss again.
"Can you remove the elf?"
It took Harry a moment before he realize what he meant. Glancing back, he spotted the elf on the shelf watching them; the black painted eyes seemed to be silently judging them for what was close to transpiring.
Harry laughed, turning back to Draco. "Just ignore the thing."
Draco put his hand up, blocking Harry from getting back to him. "Potter, it's watching me."
Laughing, Harry waved his hand towards the elf, turning the thing to face away. "There. Do you feel better now?"
Draco grumbled, "Don't patronize me."
It was all Harry could do to not jump him there. The pink flush to his cheeks, the wide, eager expression in his eyes, his pouting, bite able lips were driving Harry to the edge. He wanted Draco right then and there elf on the shelf be damned.
"You know," he spoke after a moment, watching Draco's eyes move onto him, "it's almost Christmas. There's still time to get on the naughty list."
Draco smirked and it was on.
