Episode 1: The Vengeful shadow

I brushed against those freckles that I hated so,

Life goes on and I heave a little sigh for you.

It's heavy, the love that I would share for you,

But it dissolves like it was just a sugarcube.

Now the little pain sitting in my heart

Has shrunk in a bit, but it really does hurt me now.

Those silly horoscopes, I

Guess I can't trust them after all.

All the memories I have are beautiful in my mind,

Sano stood, leaning up against the wall of the Kamiya Dojo.

Ccrrrassshhhh!, the sound of something hitting the ground sounded from within the small building.

'Hmph... Kaoru must be smacking Kenshin around some more, that or the kid...,' Sano thought, at that, the door to the dojo slid open and out stepped Kenshin.

"This one must learn not to anger Miss Kaoru, she has quite a temper, she does," Kenshin sighed.

"How can you stand to take that from her?" Sano asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oro?" Kenshin turned and noticed him, "Oh, it's just you Sano, this one thought you to be Yahiko, that I did."

"What?! How could you think I was that runt!?" Sano retorted, raising a fist.

"Whoa! This one meant no offense, but you do have the same haircut," he replied, smiling anxiously and putting up his hands.

"How dare you compare my hair to that kid's!" Sano advanced on Kenshin, a look of pure insult in his eyes.

"Yyyyeeeooooowww!"

Kaoru stood in the dojo, her feet feeling the cold floor beneath them.

'Yyyyeeeooooowww!"
