Penny sat down at a park bench, exhausted from a long day of Christmas shopping. The sound of bells and carols all around comforted her. "I love this time of year," a bright voice said next to Penny. Startled, Penny whipped around to find a short brunette sitting next to her. "Um, hi?" Penny asked cautiously. "Hey there! Penny, right? My name is Ruby!" The brunette jabbered. Quickly interjecting the other girls rambling, Penny asked another question. "How did you know my name?" "Well," Ruby said thoughtfully, "Call me your guardian angel! Now come on!" Grabbing Penny's hand, Ruby started dragging Penny towards the woods at the end of the park. "Wait!" Penny cried, "Where are you taking me? Ruby stop!" But Ruby wasn't stopping, if anything she was going faster. Flying into the thicket of trees, Penny could vaguely hear her abductor singing. "Dashing through the snow, a pretty girl in tow…"

They had been running for what felt like hours. "How deep is this forest?" Penny thought to herself. "Ruby, where are we going?" Having accepted that she wasn't getting away, Penny was anxious to find out where this strange girl was leading her. "We're going to someplace special!" The same answer Ruby had given for the past four times Penny had asked the same question. The trees were finally starting to clear when Penny realized that Ruby wasn't leading her anymore. Looking around, Penny grew frightened. "Ruby?" The girl called out. "Where are you?" Penny was answered by giggling that echoed eerily throughout the remainder of the forest. Walking out of the forest, Penny looked around her surroundings, "Are those… Candy Canes?" Penny asked herself, observing the sweets erupting from the ground. "Where did that girl lead me too?" Walking forward through the ankle deep snow, Penny spotted a village down the hillside. "Maybe someone there can tell me where I am!" She said to herself. Walking forward, Penny suddenly found herself falling, then rolling down the hill. Finally coming to stop, Penny lay still, waiting for the world to stop spinning. "Hey there slowpoke! Glad you could show up!" Ruby cried, a hand leaning towards the fallen Penny. Taking her hand, Penny climbed up off the ground. "Find a Penny, pick her up!" Ruby sang. "Where are we, Ruby?" Penny asked. "My special place, Penny! Let's go!" Pulling Penny along again, the two girls headed into the small town. "This place looks like it belongs on a Christmas card!" Penny stated, awestruck. "Probably because it is on one!" Ruby replied. "What does that mean?" The ginger girl asked. "Nothing," her brunette companion replied. The pair made their way into the town's' square and were greeted by a magnificent fountain. "Wow," Penny breathed, looking over the sculpture. "Who's it of?" "My girlfriend, of course! She's a goddess!" Ruby said with a smile. "She's beautiful." Penny whispered. "Yup!" Ruby said. "Well, I think you'll be going now." "What? What do you mean?" Penny cried. "I just feel that you'll be going soon! Just remember, this is my special place I shared with you! Merry Christmas, Penny!" "Wait, Ruby!"

Penny woke with a start, sputtering and looking around at her surroundings. Realizing where she was, she calmed down. "What a weird dream," she said to herself. "Well, time to wrap up this shopping I guess." Heading to the last shop on her list, Adel's, Penny did a double take. Across the street from her, was a short brunette arguing with a beautiful white haired girl. "Ruby?" Penny cried. The brunette looked up surprised, until she recognized who called her name. Putting a finger up to her lips, Ruby winked at Penny. "Merry Christmas, Ruby." Penny sighed happily.
