AN: I don't own Hamilton. This story is adopted from Kath2702. The original story is awesome and I would recommend reading it and her other story. Please enjoy and leave me a review or PM me if you have any questions or just want to say something.
No one's POV
Three best friends in college were walking towards Time Square. Marie Richards, a history major; Lilly Smith, a med student; and Joanna Lawson, a political science student to be precise. They had met when they were all assigned to the same dorm as their college, King's college, attempted to save money by building 3 person dorms. The trio had paused to allow Marie to tie her tennis shoe. She looked around after tying the shoe to see an old, rusty pocket watch. She picked it up and examined it.
"This is just like the old watch my grandfather had," said Marie.
"I'll set the time for you if you want," said Joanne.
"Thanks!"
The trio had a hand each on the pocket watch as it began to glow a gold color.
As the glow faded, Marie quickly realised they weren't Times Square any longer.
She looked at her, Joanna's, and Lilly's clothing to figure out they were in the late 1700's. She also got the time period from the tent room they were in.
"Thankfully," Marie thinks "where we are standing is at a perfect an angle to be hidden from the outside entrance door and hidden from view of the other door until someone walks in a few feet and sees us."
Lilly was freaking out.
One minute she was in New York, then she was in strange clothes in a strange place. She sees Marie scanning the room. She decides it vital to do the same.
"Corsets! Who on earth would willingly wear this. Wait! Marie was talking the other day about corsets and how they were unhealthy. I agree with her now. She said they were from the 18th century," she thought.
Joanna thought her day couldn't get any worse. First, she, Marie, and Lilly got stuck in traffic. Second, she hot coffee all over her favorite shirt. Now, they're stuck in some weird place.
She calms down because she knows that wouldn't help any. Suddenly, a man walks in.
