"An abandoned storehouse," said Skulduggery Pleasant. "It's where they keep the storage. This isn't a good sign."
"Why?"
"Because nobody's came here in 10 years. They say that someone wrecked it all sometime after Serpine's death. It's been locked ever since," said Skulduggery.
"Someone must be in that house to lock it," said Valkyrie.
"I totally agree."
"But we can get in there, right?" said Valkyrie. "By flying?"
"Yes."
Valkyrie got on Skulduggery's back and they started to fly. As they flown, they were shot by cannon balls. Valkyrie recognized the woman in Gonby. Eliza Scorn. The former leader of The Church of The Faceless.
Eliza continued to throw cannon balls at Valkyrie and Skulduggery, and they tried their best to dodge them.
"How did she get in there?" said Valkyrie. "It's been less than 10 years since she went missing."
"I know," said Skulduggery. "We have to get back to China and report this information though."
