Claire was sitting on the couch in the middle of their small apartment when she heard the door open. She immediately felt more relaxed as she heard Mac walk into the room. She heard his keys hit the bowl by the door and his footsteps drew closer to her.

"Hey honey," he said as he leaned over the back of the couch and kissed her cheek. He crossed over to the front of the couch and sat down next to her. Mac was wearing the same red dress shirt and silver tie he had been wearing that morning. His wavy dark brown hair was slightly ruffled from a long day at work and he was sporting a slight 5 o'clock shadow. Even though he looked absolutely exhausted he had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye as he stared at her lovingly.

"Hey," she said back, halfheartedly, with a weak smile. Claire continued to study Mac's handsome face and immediately spotted the concern in his deep blue eyes.

"Rough day?" he asked as she cuddled up to him. He wrapped his arm around her as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Yeah," Claire sighed, closing her eyes.

"Want to talk about?" he asked as he traced his fingers up and down her arm.

"Not really," Claire said. They sat in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying each others presence. Suddenly Mac pulled away from her and stood up. Her eyes flew open and she saw Mac walking over to the stereo, across from where she was sitting. He turned it on and looked over his shoulder at her, with a sly, boyish grin plastered on his face. Claire immediately recognized the song as it started to play…it was "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John.

I remember when rock was young…Me and Suzie had so much fun

Mac walked over to Claire and grabbed her hands, pulling her up and towards the space between the couch and the stereo. He spun her in a circle and started to dance. She stood in place as Mac danced around her with a small smile on his face, encouraging her to dance.

Holding hands and skimming stones…Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own

But the biggest kick I ever got was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock

Claire finally felt the stresses of the day leave her as Mac dragged her around the room, moving her arms to make her dance. Mac started to get tired and his moves became clumsier. She burst out laughing as he almost ran into table next to the couch.

While the other kids were Rocking Round the clock…We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock

The next moment Claire found herself singing and dancing along with Mac. She laughed as Mac started to make up his own dance moves just for her entertainment.

Well Crocodile rocking is something shocking when your feet just can't keep still

I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will

Oh Lawdy mama those Friday nights when Suzie wore her dresses tight

He grabbed her around the waist and dipped her low to the ground, dramatically.

And the Crocodile Rocking was out of the sight

Neither seemed to notice when the song ended, they just continued to dance and sing as song after song played. Claire had no idea how much time passed but truthfully she was having too much fun to care. Her pain and frustration from work seemed to fade into thin air as the music and their laughter filled the air of their small apartment. Claire knew they didn't really even need the music…they had each other and that was all that they would ever need.
