Time Will Heal.

I know that if it hadn't been for me,
You might still be alive.
I know that if I had listened to what you said,
It would be easier to survive.
But in all the mourning I've done,
I've come to see the fact,
That although your gone for now,
Our bond is still intact.
Father, I know that my actions
Caused your death and much more,
And I can tell by everyone's reactions,
That many, to you adore.
But I know that life must go on,
And we must all live this through,
And I, your first son,
Must take the place of you.
I can never completely replace you,
But for all them I must try,
To do my best in saving the world,
Though I'm not sure how to get by.
All those you loved,
And those who loved you back,
Were sore to see you go,
And for many, hearts turned black.
And I can tell that many,
Disagree with your choice,
To stay in the land beyond,
That we may never hear your voice.
But again life must go on,
And in time we all will heal,
Maybe my destiny will be fulfilled,
Maybe one day I will feel.
(A/N: This poem was a sudden inspiration after I read "Feels Like Heavens So Far Away." By SonGohan2001. (Very interesting by the way, if you liked this, you should like that too!) It's not usually this easy to write this intense of a poem and this is my first sort of DBZ fic of any kind. I just sort of spouted this off in about 5 minutes. Lol.
