A Gateway Of A Different Sort – Chapter one
Author's notes: I'm sure this is something every fangirl has thought about, so here is a story dedicated to all primeval fangirls.
Katerina – The MeerkatSquirrel
Steph – Werewolf. Girl. 003 (remove spaces)
Ashley – Cabbage Ninja
Ellie – Elliesmile
Zevia – .Squirrel
Riley – Nattkitten14
Tasha – StillSmiling13
Penny – Emibemii
The eight girls were crammed on one small sofa watching primeval. Usually they would be annoyed and be shoving each other for space, but right now they were deep in primeval mesmerisation. More specifically Becker mesmerisation.
Suddenly the screen went black, white, and then a sparkling orange-y yellow.
"Is that a…" Zevia started.
"Yes it is" Penny finished.
"I want to touch it" Katerina said edging forwards.
"But it's just a picture on a screen, you can't go…" Tasha was interrupted by a static noise and then blaring noise. A blaring noise like the one the anomaly detector makes. The girls looked at each other a grin, one by one the climb through the TV.

"Oh Becker you're so funny" Jess said smiling.
"Anything to see you smile" Becker winked. The sound of the anomaly detector cut thought the air. Before anybody could get to their action stations eight girls leapt through the anomaly.
The girls screamed and ran towards Becker. All of them together managed to pick Becker up easily and carry him back though their TV/anomaly.

Becker blinked and opened his eyes. He was tied to a chair and he could make out muffled words.
"Katerina, can you keep watch" was all he heard before he fell back into darkness.
He was woken again by singing. Loud singing.
"This is a world of dreams and reverie, where I felt the stars explode around me. A grass blade flashed with a gleam, as it slashed open the moonbeam and I stared back breathlessly. As mountains of fruit tumbled out, I barely had the chance to shout; a strawberry avalanche, crash over me… Staying awake that night was rather hard. Deep in a sleeping bag in your back yard. When we woke up buried alive, beneath the fruity landslide. We both laughed hysterically. It could've been just another dream, but I swear I heard you scream; a strawberry avalanche, crash over me… Oh, there's a citrus constellation, in the galaxy, stretched on the back of both my eyelids, that I've been dying to see. If you were a beautiful sound, in the echoes all around, then I'd be your harmony and we'd sing along with the crowds, beneath the candy coated clouds; a strawberry avalanche, please crash over me… This is a world of dreams and reverie, where I felt the stars explode around me" The one they called Katerina sang.
"Strawberry avalanche?" Becker asked, raising his head for the first time.
"I didn't know you were awake. You know the song then."
"No I was just trying to work out what you were talking about."
"It's by owl city. It's like me; weird and fun and sounds like a daydream." Katerina laughed and Becker started to smile.
If he wasn't tied up he might start to like it here.
