How would you feel if somebody said that you had no emotion?

"Hey, look, her face is so...blah. She looks like a robot, emotionless. Do you have any emotion at all?"

"Yes, but I don't need to show it."

"The only time you show emotion is when you're hurt."

"Thanks."

"And when you laugh."

"Thanks, again."

"And when-"

"SHUT UP!!"

People have emotion, but sometimes, they don't need to show it. People can be secretive- it's okay. You shouldn't be forced to show emotion...you don't need to. You can choose whatever you want to show.

If people don't show as much emotion as you, well, that's fine. They choose not to reveal their character as much. And because they don't show much emotion, and you do, that doesn't mean you should retract a little.

And when you put on a blank face, a bored face, it can be interpreted in the wrong way. If you put your head on all of your books, at your desk, putting on some of those blank and bored faces...

"You look sad."

"I'm not sad."

"You look sad."

"Well I'm not. So get over it."

"Actually, you BOTH look sad."

ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Some people just have the wrong interpretations :(

And when you cry, and you almost never do, they gasp.

"Is she crying?"

"I think so."

"That's-that's amazing!"

"I know, she almost never cries."

That hurts. A lot. And they don't even notice. They try to cheer you up.

"Hey, look! Haha, I'm going to laser you!"

You just hurt my feelings and you expect me to laugh? Now?

"Hey give back my laser!!"

"Pow, pow, pow!!"

Who has ever heard of silence, peace, and quiet?? And when they try to apologize-

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!!" The random person helps you up.

"Oh, sorry, are you okay?" and they run off.

"Oh my GOSH! I'm so sorry! It was an accident! I mean, my shoe came off and I tripped and I kicked my leg out and it went flying!!" He stumbles after you.

All the while you're saying, "No it's okay, I'm okay, no, really, it's fine..."

And in reality, it's not. You aren't just feeling physical pain--you're feeling emotional pain too. Even though you aren't exactly and openly showing it. Emotion. Faces. They can mesh and they can be harmful.
