I Fell In Love With A Tigress
An Ash's Point of View poem using a tigress as a romantic metaphor! I'm pretty sure you can guess who he's talking about...
I fell in love with a tigress
I don't know why or how
She came my way like stalking prey
A grin on her flaming brow
I fell in love with a tigress
Though often cruel and mean
She'd snarl at you with bearing teeth
And claws with a frightening gleam
I fell in love with a tigress
Hair burning in the wind
The sleek and flawless body
Hid the beast that lay within
I fell in love with a tigress
Her soul is wild and free
I guess she lives in another world
Where rules cease to be
I fell in love with a tigress
I think she's playing a game
She's playing "Catch me if you can"
If you do I'm yours to tame
I fell in love with a tigress
That sneaky smile on her face
The way she poised to pounce at me
with the moves of cat-like grace
I fell in love with a tigress
My wounds are more than mild
I'll tame myself a tigress
either that or I'll turn wild
