Chuchu's Point of View
"Kirby, I can't keep up! The avalanche is right behind me!" I yelled over the avalanche, trying as hard as I could to keep up with Kirby. We were running towards a cave to provide shelter from the snow and ice that was sliding down the mountain, but Kirby and I were slowed down by a few monsters.
"Try to get up onto my head! Take my hand and I will help you!" Kirby yelled back as he held out his hand. I took it and he helped me get up to his head and kept running down the mountain towards the cave. Suddenly, it was over us, about to bury us alive.
When we were just feet away from the cave, he leapt towards it, but I slipped off of his head. Reacting fast, he grabbed my hands as he landed in the cave, pulling me in. The giant wave of snow and ice fell down on top of me right before I was all the way inside the cave, and my grip was slipping. My whole body was already numb from cold. I was almost inside the cave, but then a large chunk of ice swept me away and I only saw white. I knew I was done for…
I woke with a start and gasped, shivering. I was covered in sweat and was breathing heavily. When I looked around, I saw that I was in my tent. I also saw Kirby sitting outside, looking at the stars. I got up and went outside to sit with Kirby.
"Hi, Kirby," I said, my voice shaking.
"What's wrong, Chuchu, poyo?" Kirby asked, noticing I was scared.
"I had a nightmare. The avalanche got me before I could get inside the cave," I said, tears forming in my eyes while recalling the dream. "You tried to pull me up into the cave, but a chunk of ice swept me away at the last moment."
Kirby's Point of View
Chuchu was now crying as she finished telling me what she saw in her dream, tears streaming down her face. A strong gust of wind blasted us with ice-cold air and Chuchu grabbed on to me, making me blush. I soon put my arms around her and she blushed as well.
"Kirby, can you sleep with me? I don't feel comfortable sleeping by myself." Chuchu asked.
"Sure, poyo," I said happily. We walked over to Chuchu's tent and got into the sleeping bag. Then, Chuchu kissed me, making both of us blush.
Chuchu snuggled up against me and we soon fell asleep, my arms wrapped around Chuchu.
