Haven't written in quite some time.
After listening to "Our love is here to stay" by Natalie Cole this image flashed in my head. Taken me a long time to get the words somewhat right. Man I miss this show. No beta, so yes, all the mistakes are mine.
"Richard, Katherine, Where are my cherubs?" Martha called out as she entered the loft.
Removing her gloves coat and scarf,she called out again for her family.
"Now where in the world is everyone" she thought. Usually as soon as her grandchildren hear her voice they come running with hugs and kisses.
Stepping further into the loft she could hear music playing sounds coming from the office.
Laying her things over the back of a chair in the kitchen, she ventured closer to office.
Her hand came up over her heart as she took in the sight before her.
There she saw Rick and Kate swaying slowly to the music their foreheads touching. Lily was wedged between them her arms holding on to both their waists,Jake balanced on Rick's right hip and Reece with his legs wrapped around Kates left side.
They were so focused on each other they didn't even notice her standing there.
It wasn't until they heard the sound coming from her phone as she captured this beautiful moment that they realised someone else was there with them.
Not wanting to disturb them she went back into the living room a gentle smile covering her face as she gazed at the image she had captured on her phone.
