This is my first attempt at this so any reviews or tips would be great thanks!
P.S I don't own FFVII yada yada
He'd been sitting there for the past week every day from open to close he sat there and waited. As Tifa tended the bar she couldn't help wonder who he was but as long as he didn't cause any trouble and paid for his drinks and food she let him be.
The stranger wore a wolf pelt vest over a grey shirt that once could have been white and though it was summer he wore long cargo pant pants that were a light brown with boots that were completely made of leather. Though he never caused any trouble next to him in the booth sat a bow unlike any Tifa had seen as it looked to be made from steel with little wheels on the end of the arms, just below the handle was two linked materia slots on both sides each equipped with a all and some sort of elemental materia. Next to the bow rested a quiver that contained arrows that looked to be of the same material as the bow each arrow fletched with white and black feathers. Yes Tifa thought, this man can handle himself.
It was four months later as Tifa helped a man with a huge sword on his back into the bar that the stranger appeared out of thin air starling her but he made no move to draw his bow instead he lifted the arm of the man Tifa was helping positioning himself to take the full weight of the man guiding him towards the bar with little effort.
It seemed to Tifa that her night couldn't get any stranger after finding him at station she was shocked to realise that the spikey wheat blond haired man was her childhood friend Cloud Strife the boy who lived up to his last name. The last time she had seen him was when he left for Shinra to become a solider, to become as good as Sephiroth his idol and judging by the uniform, even if it was covered in dirt and blood, it was a first class meaning he had reached his dream.
Later that evening as she was cleaning the bar after finishing for the day she heard the door open as someone walked in, when she looked up it wasn't one of the drunks that normally came In after she closed but the man who helped her with Cloud the same one who had been coming in for the past four months. As she watched him he walked over to the pinball machine and pointed down after beckoning her over. It was this that had shocked her as only a few people knew of the basement let alone how to get down there, when Tifa slipped into a defensive stance then he spoke, his voice deep and rough sounding similar to a wolfs growl, "I want in" he spoke "I know about who meets down here and I would like to join". After a stunned silence Tifa carefully approached the pinball machine silence came once again following her question "Why?" As he stood there looking at her he slowly reached into his pocket removing a photo charred on the edges and held it out to her.
At first she was cautious but as Tifa took it a chill ran up her spine, It was him, the one who had given her the scar that ran between her breasts, the cut that cold steel had caused. "where..." "I was camped on the edge of the plane that meets the town when smoke and screams arose, I stayed to the edge as Sephiroth cut down the villagers one by one as the fire spread, I watched as both you and the young man in that photo ran off after him." He said slowly "When I went into town a Shinra trooper was holding the photo then he let it fall and ran off too, that was when I took the photo and left before I would become his next victim."
As the silence fell Tifa approached and pressed the buttons that allowed the machine to travel down "It just acquired to me that I don't know your name yet you know my" when she finished speaking he smiled a little looking a but more relaxed "I have two names my first is the name I gained from my travels when those in the towns wanted to hire me and the other is my real name which would never show in any birth/death registry but for now you may call me hunter
