The seven gems,
Ruby,
Violet,
Sunrise orange,
Turquoise,
Sky blue,
Verdant green,
And sunset.
All these
Emeralds
Of power
Rest in protection of the tribe leaders
Until the holder of the gems
Is created:
The belt of Deltora.
With this,
The king protects all
From harm
Until
He takes it off of his waist,
Right where it is vulnerable
For the Shadow Lord to steal.
