Disclaimer: As much as I claim that these characters belong to me (Especially Kurt!) they don't…The story is mine.
Warning: Guess what and big surprise here, this is slash. A guy likes a guy so get over it! (Logan/Kurt)

Love Beyond Looks
Logan pulled his gaze away from the movie screen to glance at Kurt who sat beside him. He smiled to himself; Kurt was good-looking--even without the image inducer. It was his personality that gave him such beauty; he constantly had a smile and was forever ready with an encouraging word to give someone when they needed it. He was always ready for a good prank and laugh, and he always seemed to know exactly what a situation called for, whether it be to lighten it with a joke, be ready with a listening ear, or just sit in companionable silence. Logan admired and maybe even loved him for the way he looked at life, for how easily and readily he continued through it despite what had happened to him. Things like that made appearances mean absolutely nothing. Because that's what love was about wasn't it? Caring about somebody for who they were inside not what they looked like. One thing he couldn't stand was people who judged on appearances, people like, not to mention any names, Kitty Pryde, who despite how well they knew Kurt they still treated him differently because of how he looked. When you fell in love with someone it wasn't because of how they looked or because of their sex. Logan believed you fell in love with the soul of someone not their face…And once you were in love none of it mattered, all you cared about was being with them, right? He smiled to himself, it sure did sound like he was in love. He couldn't believe the amount of romantic…mush was swimming about in his mind.
Love…he never thought it would happen to him, with another guy non-the-less but here he was, halfway between being happy to have this time alone with Kurt and being worried he didn't reciprocate the feelings. Kurt glanced at him just then and grinned broadly, a smile that was both charming and breathtakingly cute at the same time. Logan faintly returned the smile and looked back towards the movie screen. He wait a few minutes before allowing his eyes to dart over to the German-born mutant again, whose eyes were glued to the events being portrayed upon the theater screen. Taking a deep breath, Logan brought up his hand to cover a yawn and then stretched that arm, letting it drape on the back of Kurt's chair so that it gently brushed up against the back of his neck. Kurt blinked and his head slowly turned to look at him. Logan wasn't sure whether his heart wanted to stop beating or burst right out of his chest…And then Kurt grinned widely and snuggled up close to Logan, resting his head against his shoulder.
"Good movie, eh Elf?" asked Logan.
"Ja, great movie," replied Kurt.
