An: Inspiried by the fan video to Nature's law (I own neither song or Tv Show) and the fact someone sent me a message on tumblr requesting a Song fic to this. First chapter quite short but there will probably be a few of them haha.

'I tried to fight the feeling, the feeling took me down.'
He walked away. She'd turned her back on him. How could he have been so stupid? He knew he was risking it when he took her hand to start with. She was a nun! What was he thinking?
He really didn't know.
All he knew was that he had had her hand in his and it fit so perfectly. It had been so small and delicate and soft. He couldn't help himself. He had felt that he needed to be closer to her.
Now he felt awful.
Her voice when she had spoken to him; saying who was it to decide to what was forgivable and unforgivable, that she wasn't turning her back on him because of him. She'd sounded almost broken and he could hear the hurt in voice. Like she was lost. He felt so bad. He'd wanted to put his arm around her but he couldn't. Even if for a second he was able to believe somewhere deep down she felt the same way for him as he did for her.
He'd done enough damage already.
He'd been so careful, he'd tried to hide what he was feeling because he knew, he knew he couldn't feel anything for her but he did.
Every time she smiled, every time she spoke to his son. He fell for her even more.
Of all the people...
All the woman in Poplar who smiled and flirted with him but he didn't think anything of any of them.
But her.
He ran his hand over his face getting his car wondering what he was supposed to do next. He should go home. He should move on. Pretend that didn't happen. But he didn't want to. Not seeing her everyday, it would destroy him.
She'd been the first person to make him see things would be alright after his wife died. She'd made him see things would be okay. Opened his eyes. Brought him back to his son. And she didn't even know it.
Stop it. He told himself over and over. She's the most unattainable person ever.
But there was a voice at the back of his mind that kept saying 'but she's the one you've fallen in love with.'
