Feeny's eyes popped open the second something cold and wet touched his feet. "Eric!" he cried, pulling the covers up to his chin. "What are you doing here?!"
Thunder boomed; rain continued drizzling down. Smiling, Eric snuggled closer into Feeny's side. The nighttime, windy storm was practically freezing, but he was already beginning to get toasty. "Don't act like you're not happy to see me, Fuh-eee-ney!"
"I am, of course," George assured, wrapping his arms around his lover, "but it's too dangerous for you to be out there!"
"All the more reason for me to be in here!" Eric kissed him.
