Tea Arthur Kirkland, also known as the personification of England, despised Christmas. The warm greetings would have been fine... if he had anyone to share them with.
Alfred Jones, a.k.a America, loved Christmas. Everyone was happy, and with family. Every year, Alfred surrounded himself with volunteering, work, and parties... to distract him from the one person on his mind.
Arthur loved tea. His daily ritual envolved a lot of tea, and he could barely manage without it.
Alfred looked down at the box he was carrying, smiling a bit as he walked up the steps to England's home.
Arthur heard a knocking at his door, and composed himself to answer it properly.
"Alfred? W-what are you doing here?" Arthur stammered, as he glanced at the package slowly being transfered to his own hands.
"I thought I could come over for Christmas... because I'm the hero!" Alfred said, quickly returning to his normally loud self.
"I'm fine. Thans though." Arthur turned down the offer from the one colony, heck, the one PERSON who he truly loved.
Alfred grabbed Arthur's hands, which were now free of large boxes, and looked into his emerald eyes. "Arthur... please? I... I just want to spend Christmas with you!" Alfred pleaded.
"Fine. Come in." Arthur lead the way as Alfred carried the large box, gift wrapped in green.
*Later that night*
"Open it Iggy!" Alfred exclaimed.
"Don't call me that!" Arthur retorted as he began opening the present. Inside the box, were tea leaves. The bo was filled with them."What? What in the world is this Alfred!" Arthur questioned, although he was filled with happiness.
"It's tea! But there is one more thing... inside." Alfred shyed away from Arthur. Arthur began searching the box, but couldn't find anything... until he stumbled upon a small box, titled 'Why I love Arthur Kirkland'
