Childhood Memories: Number one: Hiccup's part
Okay this little one-shot is completely random but I was bored so here!:) Sorry if it's completely cute and too much fluff!:) I love Hiccstrid fluff!:)
Little Hiccup was trying to pry a small jar open to get a little jelly on his biscuit. He had tried everything! He couldn't seem to get it opened, so, instead threw the door open and rather than go to his mother, who was just upstairs, went to find his dad. As he toddled through Berk, he watched as all the buff Vikings worked and wished for the day he could be out there too. But he still had what, 12 years? Humph! Too long! He walked as fast as his little feet could go, and finally, he got to the great hall where his dad was located. He wondered around in search of his father but couldn't seem to find him. So he left the great hall and started towards the village square. When he got there, there were many people around doing daily chores, jobs, and various other things. He still couldn't find his father. So where was he? He went down to the docks and looked but couldn't see him anywhere! Good Gravy Sakes! Where was he!? He finally thought to himself that he would eventually find him if he just looked randomly. He wandered over to the woods and just looked and looked. After about what felt like forever, he heard a loud, booming voice and a whole lot of cursing and swearing. He went to the sound of his father, and saw him underneath something. He ran as fast as his little feet could take him, finally reaching his dad. "Daddy? Why are you under a tree?"
"A better question would be why are you out at this late hour? Your mother is probably worried sick about you!" Stoick said between breaths. "I needed this opened." He handed Stoick the jar.
"Why didn't you ask mom?"
"She was busy"
"Well I'm kinda busy too. Why don't you do me a favor and go find Uncle Gobber and Mommy. Then tell them I need them. Okay?"
"Otay, daddy!" Hiccup then left the woods dropping the jar at some point. He found the village and then saw the entire village swarmed around the great hall. He spotted his mother in the crowd and ran as fast as he could. "Mommy? Mommy! Mommy! Mommy?!" Hiccup called but she couldn't hear him. He decided to pull on her dress and that got her attention. "HICCUP! Where have you been?! We've been worried sick!"
"I've been wit daddy!" Hiccup said happily.
"Oh you have? Where is daddy?"
"He told me to come get you and Uncle Gobwer."
"Where is he?"
"He's in the woods. He made a very funny wooking bwanket."
"He did?!" Valka said worried. "What was the blanket made of?"
"He made a twee bwanket!" Hiccup said this like it was a new discovery! Valka whistled and everything grew silent. She explained what had happened and what needed to be done and they headed towards the direction Hiccup pointed too. After about an hour, they found Stoick, sure enough, under a tree blanket. Everyone stuck to their jobs and they soon had Stoick out from under the tree. They got him to Gothi's and he had a few minor injuries but otherwise okay. Valka then sat down with her son. "Hiccup? What made want to find your father?"
"I'm sowy mommy! I won't do it again!"
"NO! I'm glad you did it. Because your father needs help and you were able to save him. But what made you look for him?"
I needed him to open jewwy jar. But then I lost it."
Valka took Hiccups hand and they walked to the house, where Valka took a jar from the cupboard. She brought a fresh biscuit and poured some jelly onto it. Hiccup smiled and ate the biscuit happily. Valka kept thinking about what were to have happened if her son hadn't gone looking for her husband. Toddlers! You gotta love them!
