Chapter 1
Pai burst out of his ship that he shared with Kisshu and Taruto. "I'm going out! We've been back on Earth for two hours and you're already driving me insane!"
"But-but when will you be back?" Taruto asked from the window.
"I don't know. Don't look for me."
He could just hear Taruto yelling at Kisshu. "It's your fault he left!" He let his body take over and completely shut his mind away. He concentrated on the wind running through his hair and rushing at his face. A few minutes later he landed and opened his eyes. He looked around and immediately recognized the mansion-sized house
Great, I feel like a stalker. I'm probably turning into Kisshu…
He was standing on the front step of Midorikawa Retasu's house. She may not have said anything, but she was just as wealthy as Mint. He found that out after following her around one day. He smacked himself in the head.
Wait, that wasn't what I meant, he thought.
The three aliens followed the Mews around for a few weeks when they were fighting. It was Pai's idea. He thought the best way to beat your enemy is to know your enemy. Since Kisshu already followed Ichigo around, he had to pick a different girl, which was Mint. Taruto already knew enough about Pudding, so he did too and chose Zakuro. Pai, meanwhile didn't so he chose someone intellectual. Lettuce. That was a bad idea. He always had feeling for Lettuce the day he met her. For the sake of his planet, he completely ignored them, but following her around made them resurface again, and much stronger.
The aliens managed to befriend the Mews in the few days after the final battle against each other. Then they left for their own planet. Ever since they left, she was the only thing he could think about. Now that he was back, he unconsciously flew to her house.
Great.
He decided to escape before she saw him. Pai turned around to fly off and came face to face with none other than the person he was running away from. "Shit."
"P-Pai-san?" He nodded slowly. Suddenly, Lettuce ran at him and threw her arms around his neck. "You're back!"
Pai's eyes almost bugged out of his head. Lettuce pulled away as suddenly as he hugged him. She looked down at her feet and bowed. "Gomen…"
"Huh?" Pai broke out of his daydream. "Oh, don't apologize." She still looked down. "And look up when you're talking to people…it's polite." He put his hand under her chin and lifted her head to meet his violet eyes. Quickly he pulled his hand away.
I can't believe I just did that…
"Ah, Gomennasai!" Her cheeks flushed red and her head dropped down. Then, she let out a squeak and looked back up at him, remembering what he said.
Pai let out an amused chuckle and then fell silent. An awkward silence fell between the two. They both squirmed uncomfortably and looked around. Then, Lettuce looked at her watch. "Oh! I'm going to be late for work!"
Pai sighed and grabbed her. "Close your eyes." He teleported her to Café Mew Mew then gave a small smile and left.
I'm not even acting like myself…
