"Hello" his melodic but tired voice finally answering
"Hey" I said with a sense a sadness and anger in my voice
"Clare what's wrong and what time is it anyways?" He said groggily,
it had just occurred to me that I had not slept at all.
"Darcy's back and my parents are acting like nothings wrong they don't want to upset her delicate balance between life and death… and its six a.m. sorry I am sure I woke you I just couldn't take it any longer… she didn't even call first she just got on a plane and came home." I said failing miserably to hold back my tears, the idea that Darcy was home and our parents were acting as if the past year and their divorce had not happened
"Wow Clare I'm sorry and it's okay that you woke me sleep is overrated anyways" I could just picture his famous smirk in my head as he spoke. "Do you want me to come and get you in about an hour or so, we could talk and it give your sister a chance to spend some quality time with your parents?"
"yeah that would be great but could you just come now I'll leave a note saying I went out for some alone time…"
"sure Clare anything for you, I'll be there in fifteen minutes is that okay?"
"Yeah I'll be outside waiting after I write my note bye"
"Wait Clare I forgot to tell you something…" he trailed off
"What Eli?" I anticipated his answer
"I Love you, Blue eyes"
"I Love you too, Eli"
